Fartumo Kusow is a novelist, storyteller, educator, and the founder of the Sahra Bulle Foundation and WeSpeak Media. Through her writing and advocacy, Fartumo transforms personal grief into collective action, creating platforms for healing, truth-telling, and justice. She is the author of Tale of a Boon’s Wife and the forthcoming novel Winter of My Spring. Her work centers survivors, caregivers, and changemakers, offering them tools to speak, heal, and lead. When she’s not writing or teaching, Fartumo is building pathways for community transformation, one story at a time.
